Sweetly Inspired! My cake journey!
I feel that I have been sweetly inspired to do cakes, I am soo happy when I do it and it brings me a sense of accomplishment! So off I go into my journey of cakes! I know that it may not be perfect quite yet but I LOVE LOVE LOVE what I do and because of that I know I can become great!! Please follow me and give me your opinions and hopefully your support. Also, let me know if you'd like to know how to do any of the techniques I've used!

Elegant Music
This is my latest creation with music. This is a two tier cake 8" and 6" made of deep chocolate cake, fresh raspberry mouse filling and vanilla/almond buttercream. It is covered in vanilla and chocolate fondant (my yummy home-made recipe that you can actually eat!). The bow is made out of sugar along with the musical accents, all edible! This was so much fun!
I can't wait to add more pictures as I get to do more cakes! :)

The cake that started it all!...
I was inspired to try a fondant cake by one of my friends. I just rolled up my sleeves and jumped right in, head first! I soaked up every lesson and technique I could find, tried many recipes and just went to work! I enjoyed it soooo much, I just felt like I found my passion! So, this was my very first attempt at making a fondant cake. Everything was home-made and hand cut. It was for my husbands birthday Luau. I really used this opportunity as practice for my elaborately designed cake I have planned to do in august..hehe!
